FMI Pump Heads
|
|
FMI pumps are modular in design. The
Pump Head Modules can be easily removed for
cleaning or replaced with a spare pump head
for use with different fluids. Some
customers have separate pump heads for use
with each fluid handled or flow rate
desired.
When ordered together,
Pump Drive Modules,
Pump Head Modules, and options are mounted,
tested and shipped as one unit .
FMI pump
heads are made from various materials of
construction for use in most applications,

QCKC
QCKC Pump Heads offer excellent
chemical resistance having a ceramic and PVDF fluorocarbon fluid path.
They are ideal for most acids, caustics, and solvents with some
exceptions which include acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), & methylene
chloride. These pump heads can operate at temperatures up to 212 deg F,
autoclaved up to 240 deg F (non-operating), and can be used in
applications up to 60 psig (depending on piston size & drive
selection.).

QSAN
QSAN Pump
Heads are designed for sanitary applications in accordance with 3A
sanitary code standards ideal for food, biotech, & pharmaceutical
applications. These pump heads contain no internal threads, are highly
resistant to chemical and biological attack and are easily dismantled
for cleaning and sterilizing. The fluid path is either stainless steel,
ceramic, and Teflon; or ceramic and Teflon - depending on the type of
tubing adapters used.

QCSC-WT - High Temperature
QCSC-WT Pump Heads are designed for high
temperature applications which require temperature control of the pump
head. These pump heads include provisions for insertion of two standard
1" x 1/4" cartridge heaters and a thermocouple. In addition, this pump
head includes isolation gland ports which can be used for either steam
heating of the pump head or for isolation of the process fluid from
atmosphere. These pump heads are ideal for maintaining pump head
temperatures when pumping viscous fluids such as waxes, heavy oils etc.
The fluid path is 316 stainless steel and ceramic. Pump heads are rated
for 350 deg F , at pressures up to 100 psig. Process fittings are 1/4"
NPT female; Gland Ports are 1/8" NPT female.
