Robotic Integrated Bead Dispensing System for Single Component Materials
 

For dispensing precisely sized beads of single component structural adhesives or sealants over 1,000,000 cps viscosity with ease.

The Program-A-Bead® 3 is the manufacturer's system of choice. Because of its electric drive and interface, the dispense rate may be varied to suit the application requirements.

By increasing or decreasing the drive motor speed (via signals from the robot / automation controller), you can match the dispense rate to the applicator tool tip speed. This is essentially useful in making corner beads consistently sized with straight path beads. The result - a constant bead size regardless of the contour.

Operation
The Program-A-Bead® 3 is a solid state controlled. Electrically driven, positive displacement metering unit. Its servo motor and ball screw drive powers a free floating positive displacement metering rod that eliminates reload cavitation.

The divorced design includes power material inlet and outlet valves (with carbide components for high wear resistance), a lightweight metering chamber, and "quick service" cylinder configuration.

 


Consistent Dispense Flow Rates

By varying the
Program-A-Bead® 3 drive motor speed in relation to the robot tool tip speed, the system dispenses a consistently sized bead.

Dispense Valve
An air operated
2200-033 Snuf-Bak™ dispense valve insures a quick start and immediate stop to material flow thereby placing the bead consistently and exactly. The valve's internal design insures that material does not string, drip, or run-on from the nozzle tip. The valve's seal life typically exceeds 300,000 cycles

The dispense valve's nozzle is configured to suit your application requirements. A broad selection is available with different lengths and orifices.

Optional Material Supply
To assure positive priming, it is recommended that material be supplied to the meter cylinders by pumps. Other options can include our
SeeTherm™ material temperature conditioning system.
